The PI3HDX12221 multiplexer switch is a 2-to-1 multiplexer switch for 4-channel HDMI links with data rates up to 12Gbps conforming to the HDMI2.1 standard. The multiplexer switch provides maximum equalizer gain control up to 11dB (HDMI2.1@6GHz) and 7dB (HDMI12.0@3GHz). This compensates for insertion losses through channel connections. The device uses a non-blocking linear RedriverTM design to ensure that differential signal transmission is preshot and de-weighted equalization waveform. With the multiplexer switch, different EQ gain, fat gain, and output swing linearity can be selected using the pin lap method for flexible design adjustments. Typical applications include digital televisions, monitors, game consoles, laptops, desktops, personal computers, workstations, server systems, extensions, kernel-based virtual machines (KVM), and PC peripherals.
